Formula Feeding
Formula feeding is the use of a prepared, nutritionally balanced milk-based food instead of breast milk to feed and provide nutrition to an infant. It is typically used when mothers are unable to produce enough of their own breast milk or are unable to breastfeed for other reasons. Formula feeding plays an important role in infant nutrition and overall health, as it provides necessary nutrients for an infant’s growth and development. It can also provide an alternative nutrition source for infants who cannot breastfeed due to medical reasons, such as prematurity or certain medical conditions. Formula feeding can also provide a more convenient feeding option for parents who are unable to commit to breastfeeding.
