Water Parasites
Water parasites are microscopic organisms that negatively affect the quality of water and cause disease. They can be found in many freshwater sources, such as lakes, rivers, streams, and even tap water. Common water parasites include protozoa and helminths, which can cause gastrointestinal illness, skin irritation, and other adverse health effects. In order to reduce the risk of waterborne diseases, it is essential to take preventive measures, such as proper treatment and filtration of water, regular testing of water quality, and disinfection of contaminated water sources. Water parasites have a significant impact on human health and water quality, and as such, must be taken seriously.
