Parasite Ecology

Parasite ecology is the study of the interactions of parasites with their hosts and the environment. It focuses on the diversity of parasites, how they affect the host, and their impacts on the environment. By understanding parasite ecology, we can better comprehend the diversity of life, improve the control of diseases, and develop strategies for improving the health and productivity of ecosystems. Moreover, the insights of parasite ecology can be applied for the conservation of endangered species.
