Eosinophils
Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell that play a key role in the body’s response to allergens and infections. They are an important part of the immune system and help to protect the body against foreign invaders. Eosinophils are found in the bloodstream and other body tissues, and are responsible for releasing chemical mediators that can cause inflammation and tissue damage. These cells can be used to diagnose and monitor a variety of conditions, including allergies, asthma, and parasitic infections. Additionally, they can be used to assess the effectiveness of treatments for these conditions.
