Retrospective Study
A retrospective study is a type of medical research study that examines previous medical records to measure the effect and correlation of a past event or treatment on the current state of health or condition of the participants. It is often used to gain a better understanding of the risk factors associated with a certain condition or disease. Retrospective studies can also be used to analyze the effectiveness of past treatments, procedures, or interventions. The advantage of a retrospective study is that it is relatively quick and cost-effective, making it an invaluable tool for science and medicine.
