Hospice Nurse

A hospice nurse is a healthcare professional who specializes in managing the care of patients who are in their last few months of life. They provide emotional, physical and psychological support to individuals, their families and friends, as well as coordinate end-of-life care. Hospice nurses play an important role in helping patients and families come to terms with their situation and prepare for the end of life. They strive to ensure that the patient’s end of life is as comfortable and dignified as possible, providing invaluable emotional, physical and spiritual care.
