Rhinology and Sinus Surgery
Rhinology and sinus surgery is a specialized type of endoscopic ear, nose, and throat (ENT) procedure used to treat sinus and nasal conditions. It is a minimally invasive procedure which involves the use of specialized instruments inserted through the nostrils to remove tissue and to open blocked passages. The goal of this operation is to improve breathing, reduce symptoms, and improve the quality of life for patients with chronic sinus and nasal conditions. This surgery can also be used to treat nasal polyps, tumors, nasal allergies, and nasal obstruction. Rhinology and sinus surgery is a safe and effective procedure with minimal complications. Its effectiveness is largely dependent on the experience and expertise of the surgeon.
