Nasal Diseases
Nasal diseases are medical conditions that affect the sinuses, nasal passage, or other parts of the nose. These diseases can cause a wide range of symptoms, including stuffiness, difficulty breathing, runny nose, nosebleeds, headaches, and facial pain. Since the nose is a key part of the respiratory system, nasal diseases can interfere with the body's ability to filter air and prevent the inhalation of airborne contaminants and irritants. Some nasal diseases, such as sinusitis and rhinitis, can also affect the immune system and make people prone to infections. Treatments for nasal diseases include antibiotics, steroid medications, decongestants, and surgery. In severe cases, a doctor may recommend specialty treatments, such as immunotherapy or even a transplant. Proper diagnosis, prevention, and effective treatments can help reduce the symptoms and improve quality of life.
