Conductive Hearing Loss
Conductive hearing loss is a type of hearing impairment where sound waves are unable to reach the inner ear due to obstruction in the outer or middle ear. It is caused by conditions such as wax buildup, structural abnormalities, foreign bodies, and fluid in the ear. Conductive hearing loss can be corrected or improved by medical or surgical intervention. It is important to diagnose and treat conductive hearing loss in order to avoid further hearing impairments and social isolation.
