Sperm Retrieval

Sperm Retrieval is a procedure used to obtain sperm from a male for reproductive purposes. It is used in cases of male infertility to assist couples who are unable to conceive naturally, or as part of assisted reproductive techniques. The procedure involves making a small incision in the upper part of the scrotum, from which the sperm are collected. The collected sperm is then used for in vitro fertilization or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Sperm retrieved in this manner have a high success rate of fertilizing an egg, making it an important procedure in assisted reproductive techniques and providing hope to couples who have been unsuccessful in conceiving naturally.
