Central Nervous System
The Central Nervous System (CNS) is a complex network of nerve cells, which controls and coordinates all the body’s activities and responses. It consists of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system, and is responsible for the integration and coordination of our physical, psychological and behavioral activities. The CNS plays an important role in the functioning of our bodies, helping us to sense, perceive and interpret information from our environment, and act accordingly. It also helps us to think, solve problems, and remember new information. Through its various functions, the CNS helps us to maintain our physical and mental health, and interact with our environment.
