Renal Cell Carcinoma
Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) is a type of cancer that forms in the cells of the kidney. It is the most common type of kidney cancer, accounting for about 90 to 95 percent of all kidney cancer cases. RCC may be asymptomatic in the early stages, but may cause symptoms in the later stages such as pain in the side, blood in the urine, weight loss, and fatigue. Treatment options for RCC vary and include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and targeted therapies. It is important to detect RCC early to help improve treatment options and outcomes.
