Overview
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a strategic approach to managing and coordinating the flow of materials, goods, and services from suppliers to producers to ultimately deliver products and services to customers. SCM helps organizations maximize their efficiency and profitability by streamlining the planning and delivery of goods and services across the entire supply chain. It combines procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehousing to reduce costs and ensure customer satisfaction. SCM also helps increase visibility into the supply chain processes and improve customer service by providing timely and accurate information. By utilizing SCM, organizations can reduce costs, manage risk, and optimize customer experience.
