Statistics is a quantitative science which involves interpreting, analyzing and interpreting data to draw meaningful conclusions. It is used to make decisions, build models and solve problems in a wide variety of fields such as economics, finance, health, engineering, business and many more. The main uses of statistics are to test hypotheses and make predictions, measure relationships between variables, estimate population parameters, and to make more informed decisions. Statistical methods are also used to provide evidence and help make decisions in the face of uncertainty. Statistics play an important role in modern society, and its importance cannot be overstated.
