Science Policy Education
Science Policy Education is the educational field devoted to understanding the role of science in public policy and the impact of policy on the advancement of science. It seeks to bridge the gap between scientific and policy communities, creating an informed public capable of understanding and engaging in policy discussions related to the use of science. Through the use of science policy education, individuals and institutions can better understand the process of developing and implementing science-informed policies and help improve decision-making in the public and private sectors. Science policy education also promotes the value of research and development, responsible planning, and responsible use of resources. By promoting science policy education, individuals and institutions are able to make informed decisions that benefit society as a whole.
