Remote Sensing Imagery

Remote sensing imagery is a type of data collected through the use of satellites, aircraft, and drones. The unique aspect of this data is its ability to capture large spatial areas with a relative high degree of detail. This type of imagery is used in a variety of ways such as detecting changes in land cover, helping track the spread of diseases, and aiding in the detection and mapping of natural resources. Remote sensing imagery is also used to monitor the health of crops and to analyze urban development. Remote sensing data is vital for decision makers as it helps provide a better understanding of the environment and allows them to make informed decisions.
