Radar
Radar (Radio Detection and Ranging) is a technology used to detect objects and measure their distance and location by transmitting electromagnetic waves and measuring the reflections of the waves off the object. It is widely used in meteorology, aviation, military and law enforcement, and in various other fields such as agriculture, oceanography, and archaeological site surveying. The ability to detect objects and measure accurately makes radar one of the most important tools in fields ranging from aviation safety to oil and gas exploration.
