Molecular Modeling
Molecular modeling is the process of using computer simulations to study and predict the properties and behavior of molecules. It is an important tool for understanding the behavior and structures of molecules, such as proteins and DNA, and can provide insights into biological processes. Molecular modeling has applications in drug design and drug discovery, as it allows for the testing of potential drugs on virtual representations of proteins in order to see how they might interact. Additionally, molecular modeling can be used to design better materials, improve existing processes and design new catalytic agents. Through the use of molecular modeling, scientists are able to gain a better understanding of the complex relationships between molecules, enabling the development of new and innovative technologies.
