Graphical User Interface

A graphical user interface (GUI) is a type of user interface that uses pictures, icons and menus to interact with the computer instead of using text-based commands. It allows users to access and work with computer applications and data through easily understandable elements such as windows, pull down menus, buttons and icons. GUIs allow users to quickly and intuitively interact with a computer system, enabling them to achieve more complex tasks with less effort. This makes them particularly useful for everyday applications, allowing users to quickly access and use a range of digital tools.
