Fast Fourier Transforms

Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs) are a vital tool for signal processing, which is used to analyze and interpret data such as audio, images, and video. FFTs are used to convert a signal from its time domain, to its frequency domain. This technique provides us with a better understanding of the signal by breaking it down into components. By doing so, FFTs help us to understand the underlying components of a signal, allowing us to make decisions on how to process them, or modify them. FFTs are used in a wide variety of applications, such as audio engineering, image processing, communications, and radar systems.
