Overview
Factor Analysis is a statistical method used to study the underlying structure of observed variables. It explains the relationships between certain observed variables, and is able to identify the effective and latent variables that underlie those observed variables. Factor Analysis is an important tool in fields such as marketing, psychology, sociology and economics, as it can help identify the elements of a phenomenon or behavior in order to better understand it. By uncovering the factors and their interrelationships, Factor Analysis can aid in the prediction and explanation of future trends or occurrences. It can also help researchers better understand how groups of people relate to one another and how they interact.
