Approximation Methods

Approximation methods are mathematical techniques used to obtain approximate solutions to a problem when an exact solution is too difficult to compute or not possible to obtain. These methods are widely used in areas such as engineering and science as they allow for efficient and fast solutions to complex problems. Approximation methods are helpful in solving problems such as optimization problems, differential equations and integration of functions while using a limited amount of data. They are also used in machine learning and data analysis to improve the accuracy of predictions and to make decisions based on data with a high degree of confidence. Approximation methods are important in a variety of fields, as they provide a less resource intensive way to solve complex problems.
