Autism

Spectrum Disorder Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder which affects an individual's ability to communicate and interact with others. ASD is characterized by impairments in social interaction, communication, and behaviour. Its effects can range from mild to severe, and they vary greatly from person to person. Individuals with ASD often experience difficulties in social cognition, language development, and making sense of the world around them. Early intervention, such as Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy, is often beneficial for individuals with ASD as it helps to develop skills in communication, social interaction, behaviour, and academics.
