Surgery Burns
Surgery Burns are skin damage caused during surgery due to thermal exposure. They can occur due to heat from medical instruments such as laser scalpels or cautery devices, as well as from their exposure to surgical drapes or even exposure to direct flame. Surgery burns can be very painful and may lead to infection and other health complications. Primarily, these burns are treated by local skin care, such as dressings or ointments. Surgery burns can be prevented by proper use of protective gear and careful attention to proper technique in the operating room. The prevention of surgery burns is important in order to minimize the risk of infection and other complications.
