MIS in Thoracic Surgery
MIS (Minimally Invasive Surgery) in thoracic surgery is a medical procedure that enables surgeons to operate using minimally invasive techniques. This allows them to receive access to the lungs and other thoracic structures with minimal disruption of surrounding structures. The benefits of MIS in thoracic surgery include improved patient safety, shorter hospital stay, reduced pain and faster recovery time. The procedure is also much less expensive than open surgical techniques and is becoming increasingly popular in thoracic surgery. MIS in thoracic surgery can be used to treat conditions such as lung cancer, emphysema, and chest wall tumors, with improved outcomes and lower morbidity and mortality rates.
