MIS in ENT Surgery
MIS in ENT (otolaryngology) surgery is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to treat conditions of the ear, nose, throat, and head and neck region. It uses specialized instruments, a microscope, and endoscopic technology to gain access to the area of the body being operated on. MIS in ENT surgery offers many advantages, such as less tissue and nerve damage, fewer complications, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery times. This improved surgical technique has helped to revolutionize the way ENT surgeons operate, and it has been used to treat many conditions including sinus and nasal surgery, ear surgery, head and neck surgery, and facial reconstruction. The use of MIS in ENT surgery means fewer risks for the patient and an improved outcome.
