The importance and need for this special issue:

Welcomes submissions to the thematic concept on 'Synthesis, characterization and applications of inorganic photocatalysts'. In chemistry, photocatalysis is the acceleration of a photoreaction in the presence of a catalyst. A photocatalyst is a material which absorbs light to bring it to higher energy level and provides such energy to a reacting substance to make a chemical reaction occur. In photogenerated catalysis, the photocatalytic activity depends on the ability of the catalyst to create electron–hole pairs, which generate free radicals. The radicals able to undergo secondary reactions. This issue accepts high quality articles containing original research results. Subject matters should be strongly related to synthesis of a photocatalyst. The aim of this issue is to report synthesis of new photocatalysts with special applications. An article to be published in this issue must contain either some new applications to real world problems or reveal novel aspects of the theory applicable to new situations.

Submission Instructions:

All submissions will undergo peer review and accepted articles will be published in the Journal of New Development in Chemistry (ISSN: 2377-2549).

Reviews which include the comparative view, Original research papers as well as short communications and letters on new developments and applications are welcome and are to be written in Standard English. Formatting of the manuscript with headings and Subheadings is necessary and views are to be presented clearly. New approaches are mainly in interest.

To cover the costs of publication, an Article Processing Charge is essential and the charge levied for each article of any type upon acceptance is $540 USD.
