Reviews which include the comparative view, Original research papers as well as short communications and letters on new developments and applications are welcome and are to be written in Standard English. Formatting of the manuscript with headings and Sub headings is necessary and views are to be presented clearly. New approaches are mainly in interest.

To cover the costs of publication, an Article Processing Charge is essential and the charge levied for each article of any type upon acceptance is $540 USD.

The importance and need for this special issue:

Welcomes submissions to the thematic concept on 'Trends in Modern Agriculture and Application of GPS and GIS for Precise Farming'. As the proportion of population increases day by day, the traditional agricultural techniques may not be enough to meet the global demands of the current requirements. Hence, there is a need for higher yield in production of crops.  The modern agriculture relies on the technical advancements in the agriculture techniques/equipment used for ploughing, seed spraying, map for soil fertility, water management, conservation of agriculture land and management, optimized usage of land by surveying, seasonal prediction, etc. By introducing the new technical advancement in agriculture sector paves the way for maximizing the profit of farmers and to optimize grower’s productivity and efficiency for saving time at lower input costs.  Moreover, precision farming technologies often use integration of GPS/GNSS with GIS to improve efficiency with products and techniques that can reduce unnecessary expenses on seed, fuel, agrochemicals and time. 

This special issue welcomes the researchers, agriculture specialists across diverse parts of the globe to share their views and to disseminate their knowledge in the domain of recent advancements in design and development of modern agriculture tools by contributing their innovative ideas by submitting the research/review article.
