Indexing and Discovery
This page describes how the International Journal of Glaucoma and its articles are discovered, deposited and preserved, grouped by role.
Journal-level indexing
Articles are published open access under CC BY 4.0 on openaccesspub.org, where each article page carries bibliographic metadata for scholarly search services. Journal-level index and catalog records are listed in this section as each service confirms the journal.
Discovery services such as search engines build their records from published article metadata, on their own collection schedules.
Article deposits
Eligible articles can be deposited in public repositories in addition to the journal website.
PubMed Central deposits
Eligible NIH-funded manuscripts may be deposited individually in PubMed Central through the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS).
Through this route, authors of eligible NIH-funded work can make the accepted manuscript openly available in PubMed Central.
Preservation
IJG articles will be deposited in Portico, a not-for-profit digital-preservation archive run by ITHAKA (the organization behind JSTOR), so that the scholarly record stays available for the long term, even if a title one day ceases to publish.
