Membership
An optional publisher program that supports open-access publishing and reduces what a member pays when one of their manuscripts is accepted.
It is an administrative arrangement with the publisher, run by its membership office.
Membership of the Journal of Experimental and Clinical Toxicology is run by Open Access Pub: it supports the journal’s open-access publishing and applies a discount to the article processing charge raised after a member’s manuscript has been accepted, while editorial decisions remain independent of fees, membership, editorial roles and paid services.
Current fees, terms and the discount that applies to each category are confirmed by the editorial office on request; write before submitting, which is when the arrangement can be set up.

How it works
Where membership applies
Review, revision and the decision itself are handled by editors and reviewers who work from the manuscript.
All submissions undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that meet the journal’s scope and minimum requirements proceed to independent peer review.
Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request.
Membership applies to the invoice raised after acceptance, and the publisher’s membership office administers it.
Questions about a manuscript go to the editorial office, which answers them on their own terms.
