DOI registration with Crossref

Discovery services
The journal is registered as a source in OpenAlex, the open index of scholarly works, confirmed on 23 September 2026. OpenAlex harvests and indexes article metadata, so these records surface in the search and analysis tools built on that index.
Citation metadata
Every article page publishes Google Scholar citation metadata — title, authors, journal, date, volume, issue, pages and DOI — in the form academic search services expect, together with links to the full text and the deposited XML.

Deposit in PubMed Central
Eligible NIH-funded manuscripts may be deposited individually in PubMed Central through the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS). The route places that manuscript in the repository under its funder’s public-access policy.

This journal’s content is committed to Portico, a not-for-profit digital-preservation archive run by ITHAKA (the organization behind JSTOR). As articles are deposited they enter Portico’s permanent archive, so the scholarly record stays available for the long term — even if a title one day ceases to publish.
Alongside preservation, every article in the published record is open access under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license and is free to read from the day it appears.
