Aims And Scope
 

Journal of Aging Research and Healthcare (JARH) is an open access, peer reviewed journal publishing cutting-edge research related to aging and health. Our aim is to promote inter and multidisciplinary approaches to aging and healthcare, in the spirit of global collaboration and dialogue among health and aging-care research communities (gerontology, clinical geriatrics, psychology, neurology and sociology). We focused on clinical aspects of aging and healthcare, social and economic factors affecting health among older and elderly people.

JARH scope encompasses, but is not limited to, a wide range of topics such as:
• Physiologic aging, age-related changes and chronic diseases.
• Genetics and epigenetics of aging, disease and disability.
• Development and evaluation of health-related interventions for older adults.
• Long-term care and quality of life.
• Economics, policy and use of technology in healthcare.
• Age-related cognitive decline, impairment, and dementia.
• Social aspects of aging and health, such as mental and spiritual well-being.

JARH is devoted to providing a platform where professionals and scholars can come together to share and learn, discuss and debate, and propose ideas and solutions on a broad range of interdisciplinary topics to address the challenges of aging and healthcare. We publish research articles, review articles, case reports, systematic reviews and protocols related to any aspect of aging and health. We explicitly encourage fresh research that combines technical precision and human relevance.

We invite articles with high standards of scientific rigor and ethical responsibility. We are committed to maintaining the quality of the journal by publishing peer-reviewed articles, which are based on theoretically sound, methodologically accurate, logically rich and empirically rich conclusions. We strongly believe that the outcomes of JARH will significantly contribute to the body of research on aging and the science of healthcare in general. We look forward to continued collaboration in the field of aging and healthcare to realize greater health and well-being outcomes for older adults. We invite all researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to contribute to JARH and help in building an evidence base to inform aging and healthcare initiatives to bring meaningful change and better lives to older adults.
 

The journal seeks to contribute to the development of solutions and strategies for preventing, managing, and treating aging-related health issues. The journal covers activities in the field of aging research, including research on aging processes, clinical research, epidemiology, public health, aging-related management, and related topics. It aims to improve the evidence base of best practices which enable professionals in health management to understand aging better and improve the care of older adults.
 

Aging Research and Healthcare aim to provide readers with the latest information on ways to ensure good health and well-being in aging populations. It encourages study and debate about aging-related healthcare practices and public policies with an emphasis on stimulating policy analysis, implementation, innovations, and debating issues in gerontology. The journal strives to accept work of the best quality, which is of the highest standards and relevance, based on a thorough review of current literature. It accepts original articles, reviews, meta-analyses, scholarly reviews, clinical case reports, commentaries, and technical notes.

The scope of the journal focuses on areas like Aging-related diseases and treatments, Core mechanisms of aging and longevity, Geronto Genomics and epigenomics, Aging and cognitive decline, Aging and metabolism, Interventions, including physical activity and nutrition, Age-related healthcare; Older adults’ health literacy and self-management, Aging in rural settings, Mental health of aging populations, Ageism exclusion, Abuse and exploitation of elders, Generation gap, Dementia, Aging and frailty, Geriatrics and Gerontology among others.

This journal seeks to publish ideal works, empirical and theoretical, by researchers and clinicians in order to help to reduce and manage aging-related conditions. This journal also aims to stimulate exchanges between research, policy, and practice in regard to aging research and healthcare.
