Salmon

Salmon is an important species of fish that is native to the cold-water tributaries of the North Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, as well as parts of the Arctic Ocean. It is a valuable resource, both commercially and culturally, due to its high nutritional content. It is an excellent source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids and B vitamins, making it a healthy addition to any diet. Additionally, it is widely used for recreational purposes and small-scale commercial purposes including fishing, aquaculture and the production of caviar. Salmon is also an important species for environmental protection, as its presence helps maintain a healthy aquatic ecosystem and provides food for wildlife.
