Goldfish

Goldfish (Carassius auratus) are a small freshwater fish that are kept as popular pets. Goldfish are a type of carp and are unique among fishes in that they can adapt to a wide range of environmental conditions. Goldfish can live in small aquariums as well as large outdoor ponds and can even survive in cold weather conditions that would kill off other fish species. They can live up to 10-15 years or more and typically grow to be around 6-9 inches long. Goldfish are easy to maintain and provide numerous health benefits, such as reducing stress and depression and improving concentration. They can also act as a decorative element for aquatic gardens and ponds.
