Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are enlarged, twisted, and bulging veins, often occurring on the lower legs, that arise due to weakened valves within the veins. This can lead to poor blood flow, swelling, pain, itching, or discoloration of the skin. Varicose veins can cause an increased risk of developing blood clots, ulcers, and other health complications. Treatment options include lifestyle changes, medications, and minimally invasive procedures such as laser treatments, endovenous thermal ablation, sclerotherapy, and microphlebectomy. Early diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins is important to prevent further health complications and improve the symptoms.
