Allergic Vasculitis

Allergic vasculitis is a type of inflammation that affects the walls of the blood vessels. It occurs as a result of an abnormal reaction to an allergen, such as a drug or a virus. Symptoms of allergic vasculitis may include skin rash, fever, joint and muscle pain, and fatigue. In some cases, the inflammation can cause permanent damage to the blood vessels, leading to organ failure, stroke, and other serious medical conditions. Treatment of allergic vasculitis includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and immunosuppressants. Early diagnosis and treatment can help prevent further complications and improve a patient's prognosis.
