Proper diagnosis is the first step to ensure early detection of HIV and allow the patient access to treatments. Once diagnosed, the patient and the healthcare provider must work together to determine the best approach to managing the virus. This may include a combination of antiretroviral therapy, lifestyle modifications, and supportive care. Proper management of HIV is crucial to helping the patient maintain optimal health and well-being. By providing the patient with the right care and support, patients can enjoy a good quality of life as they live with HIV.
