Overview

Chlamydia Trachomatis is a bacterial infection that is one of the most common Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) worldwide. It is caused by bacteria that can be spread through sexual contact, making it highly infectious and particularly dangerous when left untreated. Symptoms of Chlamydia Trachomatis include abnormal vaginal discharge, pain during urination, and pain in the lower abdomen. If left untreated, this condition can cause severe health problems, including infertility and pelvic inflammatory disease in women. Treatment includes antibiotics and requires sexual partners to be treated simultaneously. Chlamydia Trachomatis is a significant public health concern and testing is recommended for individuals engaging in unprotected sexual activity.
