Overview

Family therapy is a form of psychotherapy that involves all the members of a family with the aim to improve communication and relationships among individuals, and to resolve issues that are affecting the family. This form of therapy acknowledges the family unit as a whole and seeks to address the needs of each individual. Through family therapy, members can identify their roles and responsibilities, and learn ways to support each other. It is a valuable tool for helping individuals understand and address conflicts, work through feelings of anger and resentment, and rebuild trust. Family therapy is also helpful for addressing personal challenges, such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
