Cognitive Therapy Research
Cognitive therapy is a type of psychotherapy used to treat mental health disorders. It aims to identify and change the ways of thinking and behavior that may be contributing to the patient's distress. Cognitive therapy is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behavior are all interconnected, and that changing one of these elements can affect the others. Cognitive therapy has been used to treat a variety of mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, phobias, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. The research on cognitive therapy is extensive, and has shown it can be an effective way to help people manage their mental health symptoms and improve their quality of life.
