Overview

Occupational health accreditation is a process through which businesses and organizations can assess and control the health risks they face in their workplaces. It involves the implementation of established standards in occupational health and safety management systems, and the ongoing review of employer policies and procedures. Accreditation is essential for the health and safety of employees, as it creates an environment of health, safety and wellbeing, and reduces the risk of work-related injury or illness. It also helps employers ensure legal compliance, improve their reputation and reduce insurance costs. Accreditation also helps to raise awareness of health and safety issues and encourages safe and healthy working practices, which have been proven to have a positive effect on productivity and the retention of employees.
