Aging-Related Neuronal Diseases
Aging-related neuronal diseases are a group of neurological disorders characterized by the degeneration of nerve cells that become increasingly common with age. These diseases include Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Huntington's disease, each of which affects different areas of the brain. Symptoms vary depending on the type of disease, but can include memory loss, movement problems, and personality changes. Treatment of these diseases is challenging due to the progressive nature of the disease, but may involve a combination of medications, physical and occupational therapy, and lifestyle changes. Research into treatments and preventive measures is improving, and new technologies are emerging to better manage and treat these diseases.
