Nerves

Nerves are specialized cells in the body that transmit signals from the brain and spinal cord to other parts of the body. These signals allow us to feel, think, and move. Nerves are critical for maintaining body functions and coordinating movements, as well as for our overall health and wellbeing. Nerves are important for sensing and responding to changes in the environment and for initiating and controlling the body’s many voluntary and involuntary movements. Nerves can also be damaged or diseased, which can lead to impaired sensation, movement, or both. Because nerves are so important for our body and health, understanding how they work and how to take care of them is essential to maintain healthy functioning.
