Neonates

Neonates, often referred to as newborns, are babies in their first few weeks of life. They are an important research focus for understanding human development because of the unique biological and environmental conditions of this stage. Neonates are vulnerable to a variety of medical issues, including prematurity and infection, which can be addressed through proper medical care. Neonatal care has improved significantly in recent years, helping reduce infant mortality and promote healthy development. Neonates are often studied in the context of infant development, perinatal health, and maternal health, providing valuable insights into the biology and well-being of infants.
