Research Failure
Research failure is a phenomenon which occurs when research efforts fail to produce consistent or reliable results. It is caused by a variety of factors, including faulty experimental design, incorrect data gathering techniques, improper sampling procedure, inadequate data analysis, and/or incorrect conclusion drawn from the evidence. Research failure can lead to faulty interpretations, and consequently, erroneous decisions that may affect the research outcomes and the scientific community. Research failure is an important concept in the scientific community, as it can inform methods of improving the quality of research and ensure better results in future research endeavors.
