Negative Results
Negative results are outcomes from tests, experiments, or research projects that do not find evidence of the expected effect or outcome. They can provide valuable insight despite initially being seen as setbacks. These can help scientists discard incorrect hypotheses, identify variables that were not taken into consideration, and even lead to additional research. Being able to recognize and use negative results can be an invaluable asset in the scientific process.
