Cystitis
Cystitis, also known as a urinary tract infection, is a common medical condition that affects the bladder and urinary tract. It is caused by a bacterial infection and often leads to pain, an urgent need to urinate, and a burning sensation during urination. It is most common in women due to the shorter urethra, and can also affect men, children, and the elderly. Treatment usually consists of antibiotics and lifestyle changes, such as drinking plenty of fluids, avoiding certain foods or drinks, and taking warm baths. Cystitis is a serious condition that can lead to complications, so prompt diagnosis and treatment is important to avoid potential health risks.
