Salmonella

Salmonella is a type of bacteria found in animals, humans, and food products. It can cause serious gastroenteritis, diarrhea, and even death if left untreated. Salmonella is most commonly spread through contaminated food, but it can also be spread through contact with infected animals or people. The best way to prevent Salmonella infection is to cook food thoroughly, avoid contact with infected animals and people, and practice proper hygiene. Salmonella can be treated with antibiotics, but prevention is the best way to avoid this potentially dangerous illness.
