Group b Streptococcal Infection
Group b Streptococcal Infection is a bacterial infection caused by the bacteria Streptococcus agalactiae. It is a leading cause of serious illness in newborns and pregnant women, and can also cause illness in adults. Group b Streptococcal Infection can cause sepsis, pneumonia, and meningitis and can be life-threatening if left untreated.
