Salivary gland tumors can be benign or malignant, and range in severity. Symptoms may include a lump in the cheek or jaw, difficulty swallowing, or pain when moving the mouth or jaw. Diagnosis is made through physical examination and imaging tests, and treatment often requires a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation.
